Cooking is a delicate art that relies heavily on scientific principles. But what if you used scientific instruments to prepare your entire meal? YouTuber The Backyard Scientist recently used his homemade gadgets as cooking utensils to prepare a meal of shrimp and fresh gnocchi for his girlfriend. He ingeniously used a carbon arc light to make blistered tomatoes, a kiln to roast corn on the cob, and a microwave transformer to cook shrimp.
