YouTuber The Backyard Scientist recently used his homemade gadgets as cooking utensils to prepare a meal of shrimp and fresh gnocchi for his girlfriend. He ingeniously used a carbon arc light to make blistered tomatoes, a kiln to roast corn on the cob, and a microwave transformer to cook shrimp.
