Create a custom storage tailgate (as long as you don't mind cutting into your vehicle with an angle grinder)

Everyone would like more storage in their truck or car, but few of us want to take the time to make it happen, especially when it involves using an angle grinder and a jig saw to cut holes in our vehicles. In a recent video, Bob from the YouTube channel I Like To Make Stuff demonstrates how to turn unused areas in your tailgate into usable storage space. This modified tailgate comes complete with a locking cover and two large padded storage areas that can accommodate small power and hand tools, fasteners, clamps, and many other materials you might need for your next DIY project.
