I used to love watching The Transformers cartoon series when I was a child. I had toyboxes full of plastic Autobots and Decepticons that changed from robot to vehicle with a few snaps, or broken entirely if you twisted them the wrong way. Little did I know that one day my passion for robots in disguise would evolve into a deeply help appreciation for multifunctional furniture. I have a couch that transforms into a bed and a wall-mounted storage until that transforms into a desk. All I need is a homemade bookcase that can morph into a dining table. In a recent video, YouTuber izzy swan demonstrates how to build a transforming bookcase that doubles as a table.
