STEM is for the abled and disabled

While the majority of the population believes that disabled kids aren’t capable of doing a lot of things that abled kids can do, the STEM Career Showcase for Students with Disabilities proves otherwise. Held at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, many successful STEM workers that have disabilities showed that a disabled person doesn’t have to be held back from the job of their dreams. With encouragement and support from those around them as well as hard work, a student with disabilities can pursue a STEM career and succeed.
