Encouraging growth in STEM careers

July 3, 2014

How do we get the younger generations to see potential in science, technology, engineering and math careers?

Wondering how to get your students or kids around you interested in STEM? Don’t be afraid to ask them about the classes they’re taking and see if they’re interested in STEM. Don’t let boys think the only ways to make money are to be a professional athlete or famous. Don’t let girls think that they don’t stand a chance in STEM careers. Encourage kids by telling them that STEM jobs have a lot of potential, and anyone can do them as long as you put your mind to it.
