Building a relevant STEM workforce

The 21st century has brought much more than the iPad and Flat Screen T.V.s. Along with those innovations, the 21st century has brought with it a new need in the workforce: STEM careers. As technology grows and expands, the STEM workforce will need to as well. Without flexibility and expansion of STEM jobs and the knowledge of the people working them, the U.S. will fall behind the rest of the world regarding new inventions and education. If that were to happen, not only would the U.S. potentially crumble, but the world would lose out on the unique modernizations and contributions that only United States citizens and STEM workers could have brought about.
