Jay Leno clones an engine valve

Everyone knows that Jay Leno is a car aficionado. He owns more than 300 vehicles and even has a website called "Jay Leno's Garage," which contains video clips and photos of his automobiles in detail. But did you know that he is a proponent of 3-D printing? In this video, Jay shows how a broken engine valve can be scanned and reproduced without leaving the garage.

Utilizing a Nextengine scanner and a Dimension 3-D printer, both American-made products, the late-night host is able to create a functioning engine valve out of plastic that can then be cast and utilized.
