OSHA: One-quarter of forklift-related accidents are the result of inadequate training.

The second annual National Forklift Safety Day is this Tuesday, June 9. The observance, which takes place during National Safety Month, is sponsored by the Industrial Truck Association and aims to call attention to forklift safety best practices. Toyota will be among the forklift manufacturers from across the country gathering in Washington to promote education on the safe use of forklifts and the importance of operator training.
