What you need to know about ISO 55000

Educate yourself on the benefits of managing your physical asset portfolio.

These three components of the international standard for asset management, ISO 55000, are all currently in draft format: 

ISO 55000 - Overview, principles and terminology
ISO 55001 - Requirements
ISO 55002 - Guidelines on the application of ISO 55001

They also reside in the ISO stage “Approval” and voting has been closed under the cognizance of Technical Committee 251. The recent steps completed include registering the documents for formal approval and sending the proof to the secretariat.  Once the documents are completed by the secretariat, they will either be returned to Technical Committee 251 for corrections or move to the Publication stage.
