E-Cite Motors to expand electric vehicle component manufacturing operations in the United States
E-Cite Motors has announced plans to expand its U.S.-based manufacturing and sourcing operations. The company, which manufactures low-volume electric vehicles, is increasing its domestic production footprint in response to evolving trade dynamics and growing consumer demand for American-made vehicles.
As part of the expansion, E-Cite will begin sourcing several key vehicle components—including body panels, lighting systems, and wheels—from U.S. suppliers for its RJ and RT Truck/SUV platforms and its flagship GT sports car. Battery enclosures, chassis systems, and advanced glazing for the GT will also be manufactured domestically. This shift aims to optimize the company’s supply chain by reducing delivery times, mitigating risk, and increasing production flexibility. E-Cite is currently finalizing plans for expanded U.S. assembly operations, with additional details expected later this quarter.
