Research shows that women are very intelligent from a young age, and extremely capable in school. At some points, women are even calculated to be smarter than men. But if this is the case, why aren’t more women going into STEM careers? As the infographic shows, the reason behind why women aren’t in STEM fields is because of the way they were treated while they were in school. Despite doing extremely well, they were told that boys are better and more capable of doing STEM jobs. Now that we know this, it becomes important to turn that around and give both women and men equal chances at going into STEM.
