Ultrasonic condition monitoring

This paper shall discuss ways to use ultrasonic technology for a fast and effective return on investment.

Ultrasound is widely accepted for the location of air and gas leaks. Detection of leaks is necessary to minimize wasted energy and improve plant efficiency. Some ultrasonic sensors are capable of more than just leak detection. They may also be used for condition monitoring of mechanical components such as bearings and gearboxes.
