Rite-Hite's Eclipse shelter and PitMaster system are built to provide a four-sided seal at the loading dock

Rite-Hite's Eclipse shelter is built to block light and seal gaps where previous enclosures have failed, guaranteeing the darkest, most environmentally-secure dock possible. The Eclipse shelter is designed to provide a tight, consistent seal all the way up trailer sides, across the top, and at the corners.

On the sides of the trailer, GapMaster hooks are constructed to wrap around swing-open trailer doors, sealing the gaps created by the door hinge. The hooks are constructed of a rugged, premium material made for durability, and are wrapped with a flexible vinyl sleeve that conforms around the hinges. Side curtains are built with high-strength Durathon fabric, which is designed to be a unique, friction-resistant surface to resist wear.

Along the top of the trailer, a weighted head curtain is constructed to apply over 100 pounds of pressure across the full width of the trailer top. This gravity-based system is designed to keep the curtain in constant contact with the trailer during loading and unloading, ensuring a tight, consistent seal. This weighted curtain is made to adjust to all trailer heights. Fabric corner pockets are made to connect sides to top, providing a dark, complete seal when trailers back into place.

Below and around the dock leveler, Rite-Hite’s PitMaster under-leveler sealing system is built to provide a barrier against environmental infiltration on the exterior of the dock. Meanwhile, lip corner seals, filler pads and other components are designed to block gaps on the inside of the dock. Working together, the Eclipse shelter and PitMaster systems are built to provide a four-sided seal at the loading dock.
