JLG's G5-18A telehandler is engineered for compact and crowded jobsites
JLG's G5-18A compact telehandler was engineered to have a 127-inch turning radius, enabling movement through crowded jobsites, and a stowed height of less than 76 inches for work in confined or congested spaces and any application with overhead height restrictions. The machine also offers a variety of attachments for versatility in handling jobsite challenges.
Redesigned in 2013 for enhanced reliability and serviceability, the G5-18A features a maximum lift height up to 18 feet, an extended outreach of 11 feet, and a 5,500-pound maximum lifting capacity. JLG designed the G5-18A to have enhanced visibility over the engine side of the machine. In order to reduce operator fatigue, the G5-18A's cab was improved.
The G5-18A has a Tier 4 final Deutz engine, which is constructed to provide fuel efficiency and reduce the impact on the environment. In addition, it offers an optional reversing fan, which is a benefit in dusty environments, as it allows the operator to reverse the fan to “clean out” the radiator.
