Grieve's No. 894 650°F electric heat belt conveyor oven is constructed to stringent JIC/NEMA 12 electrical standards
Grieve's No. 894 650°F electric heat belt conveyor oven is made for sintering Teflon material onto flat sheets at a customer’s facility. The workspace dimensions of this unit measure 30”W x 48”D x 15”H. Workloads are designed to travel on a 24” wide, 1/2” x 1/2” 316 stainless steel conveyor belt, driven by a 1/4 HP motor drive, variable from 0.4 to 8.4 inches per minute. An 18” long open belt loading zone, 48” insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and 18” long open belt unloading zone area are provided.
60 kW total are built in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 2000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward and downward airflow to the workload. This Grieve oven is designed to feature an aluminized steel exterior, 6” thick insulated walls, Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior and an exhaust hood over each end of the workspace, equipped with a 12” diameter tubeaxil fan driven by a 1/2-HP motor. No. 894 also is made to include a magnehelic pressure gauge on the blower outlet and exhauster outlet, a manual reset excess temperature controller with separate control contactors, recording temperature controller and SCR power controller. The unit is constructed to stringent JIC/NEMA 12 electrical standards.
