Standard-Knapp's Pic-N-Place module simulates human arms for smooth movement

Standard-Knapp's Pic-N-Place module picks the product from the in-feed conveyor and places it into the bottom of the empty case. This module can be retrofitted onto existing 939S and 949S Versatron case packers.

Standard Knapp’s 2-axis servo-controlled Pic-N-Place module features a variety of heavy-duty grippers for soft handling and control of the entire pack of product. Engineered to grab a product in the most secure position or spot, the Pic-N-Place module acts similarly to a human’s arms. The gripping action and the distance the product travels into the case is set from the human machine interface (HMI). The color-coded docking station provides change over, a slide-on lock, and couplings designed for positive, no error connections.
