NewAges Silcon tubing combines temperature resistance with flexibility for fluid handling applications
NewAge Industries’ Silcon tubing solves application requirements that many other plastic or rubber materials cannot, namely combining temperature usage with flexibility. Silcon works with temperatures spanning 600 degrees – from -100 °F to 500 °F (-73 °C to 260 °C).
Silcon addresses situations where a very flexible tubing is needed in conjunction with hot and cold temperatures or fluctuations in temperature. Being a thermoset material – a rubber cured by heat into an unchangeable state – Silcon tubing is unaffected by repeated cycles of heating and cooling and retains its shape in such environments.
Made from FDA-compliant ingredients, Silcon is a translucent natural color and offers visual contact with the flow. Silcon is resilient and stretchable while offering good electrical and weatherability properties. It resists U.V. radiation and ozone over long periods of time.
