Datastick Systems' VMM Vibration Multifunction Meter enables users to start monitoring vibration for machine health
Datastick Systems' VMM Vibration Multifunction Meter with Datastick InSpect software is designed to enable users to start monitoring vibration for machine health, and upgrade later — in the field — to a full-featured VSA Vibration Spectrum Analyzer by adding software. Models are available in two form factors — regular and rugged — using two different handheld computers.
In the most basic VMM model, Datastick InSpect software on the handheld computer is engineered to display acceleration as well as peaking value. Other models are designed to display overall velocity, with ISO alarms when a preset threshold is exceeded. Alternatively, users can set their own alarms, as well as enter checkpoints and provide specific instructions to a technician, such as when to take the equipment offline immediately.
All VMMs also include PC software, Datastick Reporting System (DRS) for InSpect, that is engineered to capture this data, and provide trending and exception reports.
