Emerson Process Management's Analytical Model 3900 pH/ORP sensor functions at sub-zero temperatures

Emerson Process Management's Rosemount Analytical Model 3900 general-purpose pH/ORP sensor is designed to function at sub-zero temperatures, providing measurements in applications from -10° C to 100° C. Each sensor is equipped for both ¾-inch and one-inch mounting.

The Model 3900 features the AccuGlass sensor glass formulation, and its Teflon double-junction reference electrode is engineered to protect the sensor from poisoning ions. The complete encapsulation of the sensor is designed to eliminate leakage or high humidity problems.

In addition to glass diagnostics, a stainless steel solution ground allows reference diagnostics. The solution ground is also engineered to reduce noise and make internal temperature compensation respond more quickly. The Model 3900 is a combination sensor including pH, ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) and temperature within the sensor body.
