Xuron's ESD-Safe Cutters and Pliers feature static dissipative hand grips with a surface resistivity of 106-109 ohms
Xuron introduces a line of flush cutters and pliers that can be equipped with optional static dissipative hand grips for ESD-safe electronic production applications. Xuron ESD-Safe Cutters and Pliers feature static dissipative hand grips with a surface resistivity of 106-109 ohms, which conforms to ANSI/ESD.S20.20 and DOD-HDBK-263. The cutters incorporate Xuron’s Micro-Shear by-pass shear cutting action that is designed to produce a clean, square cut without spikes, and the pliers come in 10 head styles for crimping, forming, and bending wires.
Constructed from high-carbon steel and designed with Light-Touch return springs, Xuron ESD-Safe Cutters for electronics production include the Model 170-II, LX, 9100, and 9200, which are engineered to be easier to squeeze than compression cutters and have different head styles for specific materials.
