Amacoil-Uhing Kinemax linear drive features pitch adjustment and automatic reversal without clutches, cams or gears
The Amacoil-Uhing Kinemax linear drive features fast, easy pitch adjustment and automatic reversal without requiring clutches, cams or gears. A ten-to-one pitch adjustment range is possible simply by turning the dial on the front of the drive unit. Setting 10 on the dial is maximum pitch. Dialing down reduces pitch, thereby enabling a variable speed-drive system that does not rely on an operator adjusting motors, gears or complex electronic controls.
The Kinemax reciprocating unit also reverses direction automatically without reversing the drive motor. A mechanical reversal device changes drive nut travel direction with no interruptions in operation and without adjusting any controls.
Featuring a rugged composite housing, the Kinemax drive has seven pounds of axial thrust and is suitable for light-duty linear motion applications with low drive torque requirements. The unit mounts on a standard 15-millimeter, case hardened (RC60) and ground shaft. The Kinemax may be mounted for vertical, horizontal or diagonal linear movement where reversal time is not more than once every two seconds. Stroke lengths of 1/2 inch to about 24 inches are possible.
