E+E Elektronik's EE46 monitors the formation of moisture on cooling ceilings
Cooling ceilings that are operating close to the dewpoint temperature need an early alarm system to prevent the forming of moisture because of the potential danger of condensation. The EE46 condensation monitor from E+E Elektronik is designed for such applications.
A special coating protects the sensor and the electronics against dirt and dust. The E+E humidity sensor is exposed to the temperature of the surface of the object by means of a thermal conducting foil. Therefore, the humidity sensor measures the same relative humidity as is present at the surface of the object to be monitored.
If the 90% RH set point is exceeded, the EE46 provides a signal, enabling operators to take early counter measures. In addition, an LED on the enclosure indicates the actual status.
