Dynamic Systems' CheckMate job-costing software features wireless time and attendance time clock capabilities
Dynamic Systems Inc. has added Wireless Time and Attendance “Time Clock” capabilities to its Job Costing software. CheckMate Job Costing uses fast and accurate bar code technology to track labor and parts against jobs. It produces multiple reports that help customers keep track of direct costs against jobs. The software is Windows-based, low-cost and easy to use.
“Time Clock” is designed for companies that not only want to monitor their costs by closely tracking productivity of their jobs, but also want to save time recording and producing payroll data. The employee simply scans his or her bar-coded badge at the beginning and end of each shift and records the job assigned. The information is transmitted via a wireless network to software, which will keep track of hours and either print reports or transmit the information to payroll.
The software is configurable, allowing the customer to define fields, determine how to handle lunch, breaks and more. It is targeted to small to mid-sized companies who cannot afford to pay the high cost of a time and attendance system on top of a job costing system.
