Air Technical Industries's adjustable straddle cranes can be disassembled and reassembled in minutes
Air Technical Industries introduces a line of adjustable straddle cranes in 2000-, 4000- and 6000-pound capacities. Featuring a telescopic boom, the cranes have an adjustable straddle that ranges from 32 inches to 64 inches and a lifting height of up to 144 inches. The portable, hydraulic cranes folds up into a small sub-assembly that can be used and taken anywhere. The cranes' unique design allows it to disassembled and reassembled in minutes.
With a narrow straddle adjustment, the cranes can pass through regular doorways or through narrow aisles and then reach into, over or under-hard-to-reach places. The cranes features smooth hydraulic operation with a chrome-plated cylinder shaft. The manually operated hydraulic pump can be used in hazardous operations or situations where power is unavailable. An optional powered lift is available with a battery powered 12 or 24 volts DC, 110 volt AC or 240/480 volt three phase, as well as air powered motor for hazardous or flammable areas.
The adjustable straddle, when in its widest position, provides added stability and permits the user to straddle the item being lifted for tight access in crowded areas. An optional powered telescopic boom allows the boom to be extended or retracted under load. The cranes may also be equipped with a manual or a powered winch cable lift to reach down below ground level into manholes and basements.
The unit is installed on roller bearing mounted wheels for easy mobility and swivel T-Bar tow handle provides ergonomic mobility. Non marking, polyurethane-coated wheels are standard. Optional wheels are available with mold-on rubber or pneumatic tires.
The cranes are built of heavy-duty welded steel construction for dependable service. They are engineered for maximum safety and durability and are lightweight for portability. They meet or exceed ANSI standards for portable automotive lifting devices (PALD 12).
