Kaeser's redesigned rotary screw compressors offer efficiency and minimal maintenance
Kaeser Compressors Inc. introduces its redesigned DSD direct-drive series of rotary screw compressors. Available in flows from 424-1024 cfm and pressures up to 217 psig, the new DSD series compressors are designed for efficiency, reliability and minimal maintenance. These units feature an optimized Sigma Profile airend, a Sigma Control system and one-to-one direct-drive technology. DSD units are true direct-drive compressors, with an oversized airend connected directly to the motor via a maintenance-free coupling for maximum efficiency. Remote grease fittings for the drive and fan motor also increase bearing life, adding to the compressor's longevity and durability. Kaesers cooling air-flow design reduces noise levels and provides superior cooling. All units are fitted with a redesigned, high-efficiency separator system for low oil-carry over. The new DSD units are part of the Compressed Air and Gas Institutes Certified Performance Verification Program, where an independent, third-party laboratory will confirm the compressor's performance.
