Parker TexLoc, of Ft. Worth, Texas, offers a full line of Texflour Fluoropolymer Double Shrink Heat Shrinkable Tubing manufactured from Texflour PTFE and FEP. Texflour Double Shrink Heat Shrink Tubing consists of an outer layer of TEXfluor® PTFE Heat Shrink with an inner layer of TEXfluor® FEP tubing. When using double shrink tubing, the part is encapsulated by the FEP tubing as the PTFE shrinks, melting the FEP and creating a waterproof protective covering. It may also be used to repair electrical wiring, fittings, cords and other objects that need to be protected from heat, water, dust or corrosion. Double Shrink is particularly suited for protecting cable assemblies from moisture.
Texflour Double Shrink Heat Shrink Tubing is available in sizes ranging as small as .036/.91mm expanded up to 1/25.4mm expanded with an operating temperature of -100 to 450°F. Custom sizes can be manufactured.
Parker TexLoc offers an 8-page Heat Shrink Brochure listing the expansion ratio's and size ranges for all of the Texflour heat shrinkable tubing. Value added services such as custom shrinking, slitting, scoring, hole punching, cutting, and kitting are available.
