The Mark 2, the creation of Matt Oehrlein and his co-builder, Gui Cavalcanti, is a 15-foot, 12,000-pound megabot designed for robot-to-robot combat. It feature 20 rapid-fire air guns and a massive paintball cannon.

Recently, the creators challenged the Japanese robot Kuratas to a duel. Suidobashi Heavy Industry's Kuratas megabot weighs 9,000 pounds and is 12-feet high. It packs a giant BB gun rather than paintballs and has wheels instead of tracks.

To ensure victory, Oehrlein and Cavalcanti are trying to raise $500,000 to improve the Mark 2's fighting ability and improve its safety cage.
