Program looks to train soldiers for industrial careers

Plenty of jobs are available in the southern Pennyrile region of Kentucky and in middle Tennessee; there just aren't enough people qualified to work them.

Coincidentally, each month, between 400 and 500 soldiers transition out of the Army at Fort Campbell.

Operation Next is a program designed to exploit that potential workforce and help to solve the shortage of skilled labor while getting soldiers leaving the Army without a college degree started down a career path.
