Manufacturers set to run pro-trade ads during party conventions

A manufacturing trade group is making a case for the United States to expand global trade in a series of video advertisements during the upcoming Republican and Democratic conventions.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will run new videos across major news sites as well as Facebook and Twitter in Ohio and Pennsylvania calling for support for trade during the Republican convention in Cleveland and the Democratic gathering in Philadelphia over the next couple of weeks.
