In Kentucky, a new lab trains students for the manufacturing workforce

A new state-of-the-art lab opening in Kentucky's Bullitt County is designed to help students address a manufacturing workforce crisis.

The Louisville area is experiencing a resurgence in manufacturing jobs after decades of decline.

“We really have a crisis in Kentucky without enough skilled employees to fill the good jobs we have in the state," Secretary of the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet Hal Heiner said.
