The Atlas Copco Group has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the third consecutive year. Inclusion in the sustainability index is based on annual company assessments and comparison to industry peers. Key factors in this review include management of opportunities and associated risk that are derived from economic, environmental and social developments. Corporate governance and strategy, as well as key performance indicators like emission and waste, are also taken into consideration.

Earlier this year, Atlas Copco was named a “Leader” in the FTSE4Good Index, which measures globally recognized corporate responsibility standards in environmental, social and governance practices. Atlas Copco is also a member of the prestigious Top 100 Global Sustainable Companies and is ranked one of the world’s most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute.
