Conveyor shipments up almost 10% in 2010

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reports that 2010 shipments in North America were up 9.6%. CEMA estimates that shipments totaled $6.642 billion for 2010, an increase of $584 million from 2009 shipments of $6.058 billion.

CEMA estimates that new orders totaled $6.85 billion in 2010. New orders in 2010 were $1.14 billion more than 2009, representing an increase of 19.96%.
