Share your best practices, implementation successes, tips and proven project solutions by presenting at the 2011 Emerson Exchange conference. Presentation abstracts are due by Monday, March 21, 2011. Abstract approval by the Emerson Global Users Exchange organization will begin the week of April 11, 2011. A waiver of registration fees will be granted for one person for each accepted workshop and two persons for each accepted short course. The most outstanding presentation in each track will be awarded “Best in Conference,” with a formal presentation of the award at the conference.
Note: Workshops will be scheduled for 45 minutes in duration, and short courses are a minimum of 90 minutes, maximum of 3 hours, including time for questions and answers. When submitting your abstract(s), please note the following guidelines:
- A workshop typically presents a case history, a project experience, and/or specific tips or techniques used (or learned) during a project implementation.
- A short course provides organized instruction on a particular technology, application, project tool or methodology.
Upon acceptance of abstract(s), users will also have the opportunity to nominate their facility for the PlantWeb Excellence Award. Each year, this award recognizes a facility for their innovative application of Emerson’s PlantWeb digital architecture. The PlantWeb Excellence award winner will be announced at the conference during the awards presentation ceremony on Thursday, October 27.
