Feb 17, 2010

The Maintenance and Reliability Technology Summit – MARTS – is the nation’s premier educational conference for maintenance and reliability professionals. This year’s event, held April 27 through April 30, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare hotel in Rosemont, Ill., offers more learning opportunities than ever. With 17 workshops, 32 conferences and opportunities for professional advancement, MARTS 2010 will bring your team up to speed in a lively, information-rich setting.

MARTS 2010 highlights include:

  • Actor, author and manufacturing activist John Ratzenberger, best known as Cliff Clavin from T.V.’s Cheers. As the Keynote speaker on Wednesday morning, April 28, Ratzenberger will speak about Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs, his foundation that builds interest in manufacturing jobs among U.S. teens.
  • Futurist and financial professional Bob Chernow, who will offer his predictions for manufacturing, technology, the economy and other key issues on Thursday morning, April 29.
  • A Spanish-only all-day Workshop devoted to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), presented by practitioner and consultant Enrique Mora on Tuesday April 27.
  • Solid representation from top industry experts Ken Bannister, Christer Idhammar, Doc Palmer, Mac Smith, Ed Stanek, Ray Thibault, Bob Williamson and many others.

MARTS’ one-hour Conference presentations are held over two days in six categories: Data Management, Green, Lubrication, Maintenance & Reliability, Strategy, and Technology. With titles like “How to Make Your CMMS Interoperate With the Real-Time Enterprise,” “Plant Floor Reliability: A Four Senses Approach,” and “20 Sure-Fire Ways to Shoot Your Maintenance Effort in the Foot,” the MARTS program virtually guarantees you and your team will quickly find new ways to sharpen your professional expertise.

MARTS’ full-day Workshops, also held over two days, allow you to dig deep into the subjects that matter to you most as a maintenance professional. Topics include lubrication, predictive maintenance, RCM, lean, SMED and many more, all taught by recognized professionals who have signed on to share their valuable expertise, not to sell products or services.
