The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress has unveiled its new logo, which it developed as part of a campaign to reenergize the Alliance and emphasize the organization's direction.
The logo features four colors that represent different elements of the roofing industry: Blue reflects the colors of the outdoors and sky, representing the rooftop and roofing workers; gray and brown reflect the colors of steel and wood, representing manufacturers and suppliers of common roofing materials; and green reflects earth, nature and the environment, representing progress toward environmentally sustainable roofing practices and design.
The alliance's campaign also will feature updated marketing materials and a new independent Web site, which will launch soon. The alliance hopes the campaign will strengthen the organization's identity and provide members with tools to better accomplish the organization's goals.
The organization's objectives are to conduct research and undertake educational projects that support high-quality programs for roofing contractors; ensure timely and forward-thinking industry responses to major economic and technological issues; and enhance the long-term viability and attractiveness of the industry to roofing workers. The alliance also has a philanthropic side, which includes reaching out to the roofing community and its members, and helping fund efforts dedicated to good works and charitable giving.
