Flowserve Corp., a provider of fluid motion and control products and services, on July 27 announced its agreement to be a distributor of Inpro/Seal bearing isolators to select aftermarket accounts of the Flowserve Flow Solutions Division. This alliance provides Flowserve and Inpro/Seal customers with solutions that improve bearing reliability and reduce total cost.

Andy Beall, Flowserve Flow Solutions’ president, says the decision to move forward with Inpro/Seal is in line with the company’s commitment to execute its end-user strategy. “This alliance greatly enhances our drive to provide a more complete service to our customers. The addition of Inpro/Seal products to our outstanding line of mechanical seals supports our mission to improve the reliability of rotating equipment in the field and a more complete offering of rotating equipment accessories to our end user customers,” he says. “Inpro/Seal’s products have demonstrated outstanding performance in our served markets and are often specified by our customers. Our rotating equipment specialists within the covered accounts will now be able to broaden the distribution of these reliability-enhancing products.”

Inpro/Seal’s CEO, David Orlowski, sees the alliance as an exciting opportunity for Inpro/Seal. “Our agreement with Flowserve, along with its leadership position in customer alliances in the chemical and refining industries, complements our sales and marketing strategies,” he says. “In addition, this new union provides greater opportunities for the application of our products to increase the mean-time-between-repair of bearings and decrease total life-cycle cost for operating equipment for our mutual end-user customers.”
