View STEM statistics for your state

Do you know what the STEM statistics are for your state? How do 8th graders perform on the National Math Test? What percent of 8th graders say they never or hardly ever write reports on science projects? What percent of 9th graders graduates from high school four years later? Change the Equation can help.

Change the Equation (CTEq) is a coalition of over 110 corporate CEOs who are dedicated to deepening American students’ learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

According to Change the Equation, the organization created its ‘Vital Signs’ reports program on the condition of STEM learning in all 50 states and the District of Columbia to “help measure state performance — and dig deeper into the nation’s education challenges. [They] aim to arm both business leaders and state leaders with the information they need to make the case for truly high expectations for our nation’s students.”

Change the Equation has also created an interactive map that shows STEM statistics for each state.
