Catapult yourself into 2021 with a homemade trebuchet

Dec. 17, 2020

In a recent video, YouTuber colinfurze builds and tests a massive homemade trebuchet.

Is it 2021 yet? No? How about now? Like most people, I can’t wait for this dumpster fire of a year to finally be over. Despite it being a year of firsts (first time I cut my own hair, first time I sewed a mask, first time I actually missed interacting with other human beings), this year will live forever in infamy. If I could, I would build a time machine and fast forward through these next two weeks until I could assure myself that the nightmare known as 2020 was actually over. And I can think of no better way to honor this miserable year than with a terrifying, yet awe-inspiring DIY project that combines engineering wonder with imperfect aim and complete wreckage. In a recent video, YouTuber colinfurze builds and tests a massive homemade trebuchet. Please don't try this at home.
