Welcome to Interview With a Product. This weekly Q&A will feature some of your favorite products uncensored and without their packaging. Today, our interviewee is the Miller MightyLite self-retracting lifeline from Honeywell. Thanks for joining us.

Honeywell Miller MightyLite self-retracting lifeline: Good day.

Plant Services: So what exactly do you do?

H: I am designed to protect a worker if a fall occurs that involves going over an edge. I feature a shock absorber integrated into my lifeline, lowering fall arrest forces.

PS: What sets you apart from the competition?

H: I feature corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminum construction and am made to be 30% lighter than competitive models.

PS: Interesting. Tell us more about yourself.

H: I am available in 20 ft. (6 m), 30 ft. (10 m), 50 ft. (15 m) and 65 ft. (20 m) wire rope lengths. My carrying handle is provided on the 50 ft. (15 m) and 65 ft. (20 m) lengths for easy transport .

PS: Why should someone buy you?

H: My dual swivel design (unit top and snap hook) minimizes lifeline twisting during use. I am rated for up to a 310 lb. worker in leading edge applications and up to a 400 lb. worker when mounted overhead.

PS: Tell us more about Honeywell.

H: Honeywell is a Fortune 100 company that invents and manufactures technologies to address tough challenges linked to global macrotrends such as safety, security and energy.

PS: And now it's time for a fun question. What are you afraid of?

H: Heights.
