Perform steam surveys with clamp-on flowmeters

The economics of renovating and expanding a multiple-building facility depended on suitability and usage of the existing centralized steam generation and distribution system. The facility performed a cost-effective survey without interrupting steam service using clamp-on flowmeters.

The facility was able to obtain the critical information it needed to account for any additional development costs for the expansion plan. Since service was never disrupted, the facility did not incur additional costs or inconvenience when performing the survey.
