A design for true performance and energy savings in refrigerated compressed air dryers

Overview:

Refrigerated compressed air dryers have been used for many years as a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution for eliminating moisture from compressed air systems.

Refrigerated compressed air dryers have been used for many years as a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution for eliminating moisture from compressed air systems. Most designs operate the refrigeration compressor continuously and are termed "non-cycling," utilizing a hot gas bypass valve to redirect refrigerant around the expansion device and into the suction line at less than full load conditions.
