Sustainable solution in real time

To minimize waste and maximize efficiency, you need to know what to do in time to do it in the best possible way – that’s the industrial definition of “in real time.” When the definition of real time calls for it, technology is allowing us to pare the interval from event to action down as much as we want, from a month to hours at the accounting level, hours to minutes in production – down to milliseconds in the case of a machine malfunction or an arc flash.
