NovaTorque's Gen2.0 PremiumPlus+ brushless permanent magnet motor uses an all-ferrite magnet design
NovaTorque's Gen2.0 PremiumPlus+ brushless permanent magnet motors, driven by variable frequency drives, are designed to offer motor-only rated point efficiencies of 93.0% and 92.0% for 3hp and 5hp versions respectively. Due to its flux-focusing stator and rotor hub geometry, the NovaTorque motor uses an all-ferrite magnet design. NovaTorque PremiumPlus+ motors are packaged in standard NEMA frame sizes and mounting dimensions. NovaTorque motors are available both in the mounting frame size typical for induction motors, as well as one frame size smaller.
