Kaeser Compressors' Sigma Control 2 features communication and control options

Kaeser Compressors' Sigma Control 2 compressor control is engineered with enhanced communication and control options. Its built-in Web server and standard Ethernet port let users view compressor information from any PC without any additional hardware or software, and a variety of communications adapters (Modbus RTU, Profibus DP, Devicenet, Profinet, etc.) are available.

The Sigma Control 2 also equalizes runtime, extends maintenance intervals and prevents unnecessary starts with two-unit lead/lag sequencer programming.

The Sigma Control 2 monitors over 20 parameters and will shut down the compressor to avoid component damage. The Sigma Control 2 also tracks operating hours and provides maintenance reminders, as well as stores operating data. Enhanced security with RFID is designed to prevent unauthorized access.
