Schneider Electric's Production Energy Optimization (PEO) energy management and analysis tool reduces energy consumption per unit of production
Schneider Electric's Production Energy Optimization (PEO) energy management and analysis tool is engineered to reduce energy consumption per unit of production while making it more predictable for forecasting purposes. PEO is an EcoStruxure solution, Schneider Electric’s energy management architecture that leverages the process domain of its PlantStruxure automation solution.
PEO is designed to enable active energy management, leveraging the collaborative architectures provided through PlantStruxure to allow operators to track and monitor performance, capture excessive consumption for analysis and continuous improvement, and improve production energy forecasting.
Through Schneider Electric’s production management software, Ampla, in conjunction with its power and energy management software, PowerLogic ION Enterprise, PEO is engineered to provide a view of production energy intensity for an industrial facility. It is designed to incorporate all forms of energy consumption into a single value for reporting and analysis.
The system also offers real-time visualization of key performance indicators. These key performance indicators can be analyzed and compared over a specific time period.
