Scapa 448 high-tack duct tape suited for industrial taping and maintenance
Scapa North America introduces Scapa 448, a high-tack duct tape for industrial maintenance and general-purpose taping. The product is easily torn by hand and offers excellent bond strength with a variety of substrates, including poly films.
Scapa 448 performs consistently over a range of temperatures without “edge ooze” and will not twist or curl during application. The product can be used for taping metal ductwork, hanging poly sheeting, general-purpose bundling and sealing and in a variety of industrial maintenance applications requiring increased tensile strength and adhesion. Scapa 448 is a polyethylene-coated cloth that is single-coated with 5.5 mils of a high-tack, natural rubber adhesive.
