Meco's redesigned seals reduce ignition risk
Many bulk-processing plants with potentially explosive atmospheres are reviewing their equipment, including shaft seals, to minimize explosion risk. Meco has adapted its seal designs to comply with strict European explosive atmosphere regulations (ATEX). Meco seals not only keep dust and vapors from escaping process vessels, but also can incorporate safety features to reduce ignition risk. Meco designers examine every application individually and custom-engineer seals to meet the processor's requirements.
