Clayton Low NOx steam generator responds to fluctuating load demands
The new SigmaFire steam generator features a unique counter-flow design that provides higher fuel-to-steam efficiency than traditional boilers. It provides full output from a cold start in less than five minutes, responds rapidly to fluctuating load demands, and minimizes moisture in the steam. Fuel options are natural gas, propane, #2 fuel oil, biogas and hydrogen.
The new unit employs an Ultra low NOx fiber metal burner that results in less than 9 ppm of NOx, and less than 50 ppm of CO. The skidded 100 BHP model is compact and lightweight, and incorporates a complete feedwater treatment system.
