Garland protective overlayments feature a wide range of chemical resistance

ICS, Garland, Inc., a manufacturer of floor products since 1959, introduces Chemi-CoteTM UR 9100. Chemi-CoteTM UR 9100 provides protective overlayments for concrete and a topcoat for decorative applications. Chemi-CoteTM UR 9100 is VOC compliant (clear <100g/l, pigmented <150g/l), virtually odorless and with no harmful fumes, can often be applied without a shutdown. Chemi-CoteTM UR 9100 affords a wide range of chemical resistance including aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, hydraulic fluids, jet fuel, acids, alkalis, alcohol, detergents, salts, cutting oils and grease.
 
Ideal applications for Chemi-CoteTM UR 9100 are in service and very high traffic areas such as loading docks, warehouses and aisle ways. Chemi-CoteTM UR 9100 is perfect for areas that are exposed to the sun and UV light sources. The coating contains proprietary, hard fillers which increase abrasion resistance 50-100% over standard polyurethane coatings.
