Safe Harbor Access Systems LLC announces the release of a new product for both liquid and dry bulk materials handling applications. The Tracking Access System (TAS1) utilizes a track mounted mobile platform to provide operators safe access to the top of vehicles such as tank cars, tank trucks, hopper cars and hopper trucks as well as other areas where operator fall protection is a concern. The TAS1 incorporates a single or dual sided (shown) platform module that travels along a fixed track system and can be positioned manually by the operator in order to service multiple locations.
The Tracking Access System provides the user greater flexibility over fixed platforms with regard to vehicle size variations, multiple loading and unloading locations and vehicle spotting tolerances. Additionally, the TAS1 greatly reduces the materials cost associated with the structural steel, foundations and surface decking as compared to fixed platforms as well as the associated engineering, construction and installation costs. The Tracking Access System (TAS1) can also incorporate loading and unloading accessories such as loading arms, hoses vapor recovery systems and liquid flow and level detection devices.
